Can someone ID this module?
« on: March 13, 2018, 09:18:53 PM »

Found this at a yard sale, has no label but looks like it's X10 compatible. I have no idea what the audio jack would be used for. Anyone have an idea? Thanks.... Gary
Well, obviously the 'insert image' button didn't work for me.... I'll need to sort that out next. If someone can help me with that I'd appreciate it!

Your first two images are the same.

The last image showing the bottom
https://drive.google.com/file/d/1clph_gTEcQiLdN5Lx9sNf5bRDERtsZc3/view?
looks like the cord may have been added afterwards.
It looks like a radio shack version of the TM751 though I've no Idea what the added wire may be for.

Looking at it 'in the flesh' it appears the wire w/jack is oem. Why don't the images show in my post but do in your reply?

Aren't there any part numbers on it?  All the modules (Radio Shack or otherwise) have a PN to reference.

There was obviously a paper label on the back (in the third image that didn't upload) but it is missing. The only other info is the 06A02 that is on the little sticker. I googled Radio Shack 06A02 and got no meaningful results.

06A02 is a datecode for Jan 2002, IIRC.

There's no relay and the cable does certainly appear to be OEM. My best guess is that it is an RF to PLC transceiver with a serial output.

Looks like an X10 OEM Radio Shack part.
Too bad the part number is missing.
In the last photo I see a power transformer.

My thoughts are a camera power supply. One output on the 1/8" stereo jack is constant DC and the other is turned On and Off by an X10 RF command. X10 used a 1/8" stereo connector on some of their instant On wireless camera power supplies.
Though they where power line controlled. So I don't know the function of the small RF board and antenna showing in your photos.

Look at this eBay sale for a Radio Shack Observation System.
In the photos the power supply sure looks like the one you are asking about.

I'd go with dhoustan. RF to PLC transceiver.

I'd have to agree with you Brian.... I'll contact seller and see if they'll give me the PN off it. Thanks!

I, too, now agree with Brian. The PN 49-2535 is visible on the box in Brian's link but I cannot find a manual. If there's a PN on the item in question, it might help.

The ebay seller sent me a part number but it was for the remote chime in the other corner of the pic. I'm guessing he'll follow up with correct item number.
