I still cannot execute a "bulk" sync on my iPad Air 2. However, if I make a change to a device from my android phone, the iPad app is updated.  So, it really does seem like a time-out issue.  I was able to "sync" my iPad by making changes from my phone to all of devices that have timers, etc.
