Try rebooting both your router and the WM100.

Unplug it, wait 30 seconds and plug it back in.

I'm still red as of 10:55 am MST, I rebooted the routers and unplugged the unit last night.  I think my unit itself is ok because it did turn the aquarium on at 8 am, however it did not do any of the aquarium light sequences after 9 pm last night as well as turn off the outside lights.  When the server is down, I still will get the use of my timers.

I had to move my Xmas tree to a code with local control and the shared light has a few "off" setpoints at night since the lights were turning on before dawn, the tree was off this morning and I keep it barely on when not enjoying the lights so we don't have to shake the bubble lights to get them going.

Tried unplugging the WM100 and router several times sill not able to connect I don't want to factory reset my WM100 as all of my settings I have added will be lost will only do this as a last resort.  Any other information available as to the server outage?

If you checked the link in the OP you'd see the WM100 servers are currently off line.

They must have done something to my clock because the 3 sets of outside lights and the aquarium all came on almost exactly four hours early, but in the typical order.  Go figure!  12:50 pm MST here.

It would have been nice if the phone app could have told me to check on that first.  I spent a LOT of time trying to figure out what was going on.  I tried resetting the WiFi connection to my router, but kept having the "<Unknown SSID>" issue.  I pulled out an old phone and used that one, which correctly showed my SSID, but still had issues.  I finally tried to do a factory reset and rescanned the QR code on the back of my X10 WM100 to set it up from scratch, and THAT is when the app on my phone let me know it could not make contact with the X10 server, FINALLY letting me know that it was an issue outside my network.  But at this point since I have unplugged the WM100 all my timers will be wonky, and all the X10 setup info in my phone is wiped clean.

It wasn't until I used the "Contact Us" link on the X10 website to report the issue to X10 that I saw the notice that they already knew the server was having issues.  I am glad that there is a flag to check on, but it would be VERY nice if that could be displayed on the phone app!

We noticed we couldn't control anything with the X10 hub.  Tried app reset on my wife's phone then got the dreaded server not available. Did a few internet searches and eventually landed here.  Hopefully they get it working soon as it's been pretty stable.   Holiday schedule just worked during the holidays and my family didn't have to do anything special.

I used the contact page to report a problem.  Hopefully they'll see that there are enough of us still using their products.

I got an email from X10 com.  Hi Gary,

We are still waiting to hear back from the server group. FYI, this outage has impacted multiple businesses and it is not just our server. As soon as we have an update we will update the website with that information. We apologize for the inconvenience.

The downside to cloud based services and it’s not unique to X10 servers. All the more reason to choose a local control option. You’ve now experienced the reason why.

Cloud based servers do have there benefits, but they also have downsides.
Users that wish to use any cloud based service should expect disruption from time to time. Sadly more often then not it is when you don't  wish it.
A local control option is nice to have even if you only use it as a backup.
Luckily local control is possible with X10. :)%
