We lost our power secondary to Hurricane Michael and the time in my WM100 is OFF!
I canNOT connect to the internet via WiFi because cable is out. Therefore, I will never get a green light?

I’m assuming the WM100 must reach the X10 server to validate device?

I’ve tried rescanning, etc, but I cannot get a connection without internet.

I even tried using another phone using LTE as a WiFi hot spot.

Looks like I’m going to have to use my CM15A until I have internet???
If that’s the case, that’s very bad programming. My wireless printer works fine without internet.

Work around until I get internet???

Unfortunately there currently is no work around I keep pressing Authinx for local control and other much needed fixes.
The WM100 has no battery backup.  However I have heard of a user running their WM100 connected to a UPS and it still performed well for them.

This doesn't help you now but would have if it was connected to a UPS prior to losing your power.

If you use one phone's hotspot as the WAN source for your router and connect the phone with the WM100 app to the router as a wifi client, it may work as the WM100 shouldn't care what the source of the WAN is.  To do that see if your router has a "bridge mode" setting and /or check out the manual for your particular router for details.

You might also be able to use your phone as a hotspot, and use *another* device (also using your phone as a hotspot) to register the WM100. The lack of local control is a big problem, and one of the reasons I can't recommend the WM100 to anyone else at the moment.
