Alex10
« on: December 08, 2018, 10:31:33 PM »

I need to get a fresh download of Alex10.  I am trying to get it working on a Win10 Kangaroo mini pc.  The website is gone, has the URL changed?

Forum is  at http://forums.tuicemen.net/index.php
Is lifejacket available?
Yes, it still is available
I hope to get the Tuicemen.com domain back pointing to things by Christmas or sooner.
Most of my free time is taken up with the Pi-X10Hub project which will make AHP and Alex10 obsolete.

You might wish to move the next step and for under $30 ditch the PC, AHP,Alex10 and move to the PiX10Hub.
You'll get more out of your X10 setup.

I am interested in the pi solution.  Also can I get an older version of Alex10?   The version that did not have the switch graphic always worked better in my home.

Sadly the old Alex10 versions were linked to the current HA-Bridge of that time, so older versions would only work with old versions of it. :(
For that reason I took old versions off line.
I may have some of these builds on my development machine but that is currently on the blink (think the BIOs is dinner)the PiX10Hub is due for a Christmas release if not sooner.
If your interested in this solution I'd order a Pi Zero W, If nothing else it will give you a toy to play with over the holidays.
However I'm sure you will be impressed with its operation.
I can grant you access to the testing section if you PM me so your up on things when the PiX10Hub is released. ;)
