I tried your suggestion with another email that I use. I can login to Amazon.ca with it, but I cannot login to alexa.amazon.ca. The window just opens and closes. I think I would have to delete my original account. :(

Maybe just delete it from your phone. I know you can have different accounts at the same address because we have 3 in our house with alexa devices split between two.  If I switch accounts on my Amazon Shopping app the Alexa app will reflect whatever I'm logged into. My accounts are US based to the extent that makes any difference.

There is a new beta version on github, but did not work for me.

Be sure your pi is using 2ghz not the 5 ghz band even if your conected using the eithernet cable.

I checked again. All my devices are on 2.4 ghz except my PC- Win 10.

How is you pi 3b+ connected to your router? Is your pi IP reserved in the router?

For those who may have been following this saga, I now have Alexa controlling my X10 devices with HG and Habridge. :)% >! But, I had to buy a gen. 1 Echo, after 1st trying a gen 3 then gen 2. :( I also had to start over with a clean from scratch build, ie, a new Buster then HG followed by Ha-bridge. I could not get Tuicemens Image to work with Alexa. Sorry.  :( But it is still flakey as heck. I managed to get Alexa to discover X10 devices about 5 times out of about 100 attempts.

Glad to see you made progress. There have been reports of alexa and Google timing out presently  for discoveries and sending of commands I suspect it maybe due to so many now stuck at home thus putting a larger then normal demand onthe band width. ::) :'
Hopefully things will improve sooner then latter.
