I was just wondering how many have tried Universal Remote apps for phones or tablets. I have been searching around and found two that have promise. The Sure Universal Remote seems best so far. The other called Touchsquid has a nice graphic interface, but does not work quite right with my Rx.

I've tried some. A couple that worked with separate IR devices. They were OK but only for a limited time as updates were slow in coming. Currently using a universal Roku remote on my phone.... as I share my remotes and everything else not under lock & key... with granddaughters.

Even back-in-the-day.... the old VCR commander and PowerMids were a great way add control to IR devices.
