OK I know i'm missing something as I've read others have this working.
I downloaded the software installed and every thing seemed to go smoothly  problem is I can't get the program to even start! (tried this on 3 different machines 2 with xp one with 98)same results!
I have 3 possible options under programs/x10 commander (commander, comandermini,and commandersetup) it doesn't matter which I click on all bring up a x10 default skin  black page and the only way to close is ctrl/alt/del.
Maybe the downloads at X10 are corrupt Anyone else experiance this and able to get it running?

The problem is that we haven't updated IR Command in quite some time, and it's not compatible with the most recent shared X10 components.

If that is the case then it should have ran on my 98 machine as there are no X10 components  on it! well the firecracker software but it says it needs the firecracker to work!
 Any Idea when  a software revision will come or if it will be added to AHP?
If not I'll return it, no one at support seems to be able to help.

It sounds like you should be able to run it on your Windows 98 PC. We don't currently have plans to update it or add it to AHP.

Ok finaly got the software to come up had to uninstal then delete the" x10" folder in the "common" folder of "program files"
tried the same with an xp machine and Software now starts. Now I guess I can see If this actualy works.
Very Bad marketing   on X10s part web page says it's NEW    obviously its NOT! Isn't this False addvertizing?
I suspect X10 will get alot of returns! Who wants to return to using Windows 98?

Hey this will work on a Xp machine!   I can't have any other X10 software installed not even the firecracker software
I definitly think this is over due for a software update!
Perhaps a plugin for AHP which would alow this after all the name Pro leads one to believe it does everything!
Even if a update to the SDK allowed this others could make the software!
Anyways I'll give this a few days set everything up and post how it works!
