How to control X10 devices from PC
« on: October 16, 2024, 05:21:08 AM »

Hello, I am using some devices in my house that are controlled by X10, but the controller is currently down. Is there any way to control X10 powerline devices from PC?

Can I do it myself? Thanks.

Welcome to the X10 Forums.
What is the controller's model number?
Like one that is a stand alone one and not a controller normally using WiFi or a PC now.
Yes you can control X10 devices with a PC or WiFi.
Though not directly but through a module connected to the PC or maybe a X10 WM100.

Besides a x10 computer module you'll need a program capable of sending proper the x10 signal (rf or plc) to the x10 computer module.  >!
