I installed AHPPro raw from the installer I had ... 3.3.18 or whatever.

Now I just have to get the new install to read my config file for devices, rooms, timers, etc.

Guess I overstayed my welcome ...  like usual.

Swung the USB cable for the controller over to the new PC and AHP recognized it.  I only had about a dozen modules, so I just recreated those.  No complicated timers or macros on the old.  Set new timers.  Seem to have full operation from AHP.

Still have the issue that sometime a module gets a command and sometimes not, but that isn't the software.

Oh well.

I use Linux Mint and no longer use AHP or any Windows Operating Systems..
So I could not add to your questions.
No you did not overstay your being here.
I am glad you got it working.

I also no longer use AHP as I suspect is true for most users here. As for Windows I barely use it either.
I do still use the CM15A however.

Being a dinosaur I still use both Windows and AHP and also the CM15A. I only have a simple set of lighting timers and one macro though ;-)

Seeing some weirdness.

AHP will trigger some modules, but not all.  It will turn off a module that it won't turn on.  Even clicking the tile in the AHPro display will not always turn a module on that it will turn off.  Yes, there is a lot of noise in my system as well as wireless networking  and Bluetooth.

But my 6 - in -1 universal remote UR-19A (yes it still works) has no problem triggering any module on or off.  I can turn one on and when the timer set in  AHPro fires, the module will turn off.

AHPro set for P1 on at 1700, off at 2300

P1 does not turn on at 1700 by timer.

I turn it on with UR19A

P1 turns off at 2300 by timer.

Why will AHPro turn a module off that it will not turn on?

This is sort of new with the new installation.  It had been working well with the old install.  Maybe I should download that to the plug in unit again to see what happens.

Is the CM15A also being used for the UR19A or a separate RF Transceiver?
If separate are they in different locations and maybe different circuits?
If the problem modules are dimmers. Are they soft start?
Have you chosen the correct module in the module list?
If you pick soft start on an old type module. It could be the on command is not correct.

Same.  Only one.

Basically in the same room and circuit.

Not all are dimmers, but those that are are older ones.  Some are appliance modules.

I selected from the older non-soft start, but noticed that the color of the tab at the top of the tiles changed from black to light blue.

Deleted and recreated them.  Headers stayed black and a couple more work better, but not all.

I'll just have to play with them a bit I guess.

Strangeness.

But what's it been?  Most of 20 years?  Kind of surprised they still work at all.

I ran into similar wierdness with X10 when I Plugged in my Laptop after changing my system from Win 10 with activehome pro to Raspberry Pi with HomeGenie. Several units would behave erratically or not at all. Eventually I noticed everything worked when the laptop was unplugged. I was told to order an XPFF and install it between the plugin and the laptop power supply. Everythig went back to the way it was. I now have these filters on several power supplies and have not needed to stress since. If you have a laptop see if running on battery makes a difference.
