Again bad install

Been trying to re-install HomeGenie to RPi 3b+ again but again been running into problems with access permissions. I manage to install the 32 bit operating system on the card, then try to install HG 1.3 as I always have. After a bunch of error messages I found I did not have sudo access so I was not allowed to install the system.

Any help would be appreciated.

Afterthought.

After further trials and study, I realized I needed a seperate install to install mono. After I did this as shown at
      https://www.mono-project.com/download/stable/#download-lin-raspbian
the install went as always. Now restore backup and run.
