AHP Security, ProtectorPlus(DX7000 ) vs PS561, sensors
« on: December 30, 2005, 11:59:25 AM »

I just purchased Active Home Pro and the
USB interface. It's awesome and it's caused
me to dig up every x10 module i've ever
had. In my quest I unearthed an older home
security bundle in my basement.

It's the same basic bundle offered today
except the master unit is the PS561. It's
the spitting image of the DX7000 and the
module in AHP works for the unit i have.

Does anyone know if i can use this unit or
the DX7000 to get individual sensor
information into active home?

Right now all the sensors work but i really
only see the House Code sent from the base
station when the "alarm" is actually
triggered.

What i'd like to do is create macros for
certain doors that trigger when they open
or close but not only when the master alarm
goes off.

thanks.

The security sensors send codes that are not
standard X10 ones and from all I have seen
the AHP interface and software dosn't
process those messages.
