Hey All..
I got my X10 kit and I LOVE this thing. I've
seen a lot of people complain about some of
the hardware, but so far I haven't had any
problems.. Even the range on the CM15A wasn't
bad, but I just added an RTM75 (same as
TM751?) and that solved all my problems with
range.

ANYWAY, is there a difference between the
LM15A and the RLM20? I picked up an RLM20 at
Fry's Electronics and it looks and functions
the same as the LM15A, is the different model
number because it's retail (noticed it's in
the retail section in AHP).

Thanks!

Boy, I hope you're right or at least got a
good unit.  I have been working with mine
for 13 months and have had to jump through
several hoops.

If you "just got it", it will take a couple
weeks to shake out the bugs.  Sorry, not
trying to be negative, but it's been a long
13 months of hunting for gremlins only to
find it's the hardware.

Scott,
If you're talking about the CM15A I think I
remember reading that there was a batch of
bad ones that wouldn't hold the time, macros
didn't work, etc..

From what I've read I think that's fixed in
the newer ones.

I'll post back if mine starts acting up.

Anyone have any info on my original post (Is
the RLM20 the same as LM15A)?

Most likely is. I have purchased from web
vendors an X10 module and they frequently
send the retail version that has a different
part number. I have chime modules RSC15
Retail and X10 SC546. The RCS15s where
substituted by X10 for my SC546 ordered
modules.
If you RLM20 programs and acts like the
LM15a it is probably the same.

On one of the Automation web sites. They
list the socket rocket as an X10 LM15A or an
X10 RLM20 or an X10Pro PSM04
