Klaus Schumann has a question
« on: January 12, 2006, 03:17:26 PM »

I recently upgraded to AHP and would like
to set my outside light as follows:
Turn on at dusk, turn off at 11:00 PM.  It
is programmed – no problem.

In addition, turn on (and off after 4
minutes) the lights with the EagleEye
Motion Sensor MS14A between 11:00PM and
dawn.  I don’t want to install a parallel
switch. Any idea?

Thank you,

Klaus

You need AHP with Smart Macros, which
provides the conditional capabilities. Eagle
is the trigger and 11:00 PM to dawn, is the
conditional.

I upgraded to AHP for the same reason and
have it working.  Mine turns on at dusk and
at 10PM, the eagle eye turns the light on at
10 minute intervals until dawn, then it is
off.  This is an interior light and the
sensor is in a hallway, so I could not use
the built in dawn/dusk of the sensor due to
shadows.
Just make a timer for the dusk to 10PM
part.  Then make a smart macro for 10PM to
dawn conditions.  When it sees the code of
the sensor, it should turn on, then delay
and off after x minutes.  I happen to run my
motion sensors on code A and the modules on
code C.
