File Names

I would rather have seen the file names
easily interpreted by a human rather than a
computer. Ie: "March 5/2005 15:05pm.jpg"
instead of the "XF2X41F0002002Z60Z.jpg" -
it makes it a lot easier to find if you are
not running AHP.

Donald, good point. If an event takes place,
and I want to enhance, print, etc., how would
I do that when the image dated and timed in
iWitness cannot be matched to an image in
Explorer? Not easily.

I don't think there's much chance of us
making more human readable file names, but
I'm sure we can make it easier to find and
use an image outside of AHP. What if you
could Save As to a filename of your choosing
from the Image Viewer? Or maybe just copy
into the clipboard so you could paste it into
another app?

Yes, that would be an improvement I would
use; right click a particular image and save
as, or copy to clipboard.
