I have Windows XP pro and am using Active
Home Pro. I went to check for updates to
Windows and it detected an X-10 device as
well as an Intel wireless camera so I decided
to update them. BAD IDEA! Now nothing X-10
works. I have tried rolling back my drivers,
uninstalling and reinstalling the program. I
even have taken down my entire X-10 network
and have it broken down to a camera, reciever
and the Active Home Pro USB device... all
within 3 feet of each other and nothing
works! If you have any suggestions I would be
very happy to hear them.

Hi,

I had the same thing happen months ago.

I do not remember the exact details, maybe
X10 can elaborate, but I think ...

Go into device manager, and delete the Intel
Camera Pro driver (or whatever exactly it is
called).

Restart the computer. When the auto-install
windows come up click cancel on all of the
Intel Camera stuff.

Run the X10 video install software.

As near as I can remember this fixed my
problem.

Regards,

Ken
