Motion Sensor Module & Smart Macros
« on: November 30, 2004, 04:30:56 PM »

Hope someone out there has an idea on this, I
can't seem to make it work. I want to build a
macro to have a motion sensor module (unit
A9) turn on the bathroom light (unit A11)
between dusk & dawn at 50% power, but can't
seem to figure out how to get the sensor into
the macro to make it work. Anyone got any
suggestions? I'd appreciate it,
thanks,
Dan

Just specify the motion sensor as the trigger for the
macro: Trigger A9 On= A11 On. You'll need conditionals
in order to specify the time frame.

DanP,

If for any reason you still can't get this
to work, stop by: http://www.accessx10.com
and check out the Macro Forum. I have a
short tutorial on setting up motion
activated macros with screenshots. I would
be happy to post a similar tutorial for your
exact situation.

Just set the motion sensor to the same
trigger code as your macro
