Well, it worked for almost 2 weeks, but I
have to say todays failure was a pretty
major crash and burn. This is with 3.172.
I have a macro that gradually dims the
light in my 16 mo. old daughter's room and
then turns it off. We use this after we
put her to sleep. If she wakes up and the
room is bright she thinks its time to get
up!
Tonight my wife put her down, activated the
macro (by RF) and walked away. We know the
macro was triggered because the light
dimmed one step. An hour later we heard
some fussy noises and went to check on her,
and lo-and-behold the light was still on.
So we turned it off.
Then I noticed that my bedroom lamp did not
turn off at 11:30 as scheduled. I also had
some trouble triggering my "Lights Off"
macro that turns off most of the lights
around the house.
So I open AHP and open the activity
monitor. I notice some weird stuff in
there, including some times out of order.
Then while I'm watching the monitor I see
some commands going out to the lamp in my
daughters room. I look in the room and the
light is on FULL. Fortunately it didn't
wake her up. It seems that the macro got
stuck (5 hours earlier). When it got
unstuck it wanted to dim the light 5% but
since it was off, it TURNED IT ON FIRST.
