Appears the software is going about querying
the status of a 2-way appliance module
differently than it does 2-way transcievers
or the PR511 Floodlight.
I am wondering if this is having any effect
on the updated status of the things hooked to
the appliance module. Cold and/or dead
lizards and frogs will make the WAP take a
nose dive fast
Both transmits shown in the log where
initiated via the software, pressing the
softkey "Poll" for each device.
Hardware:
PR511 Floodlight
AM14A 2-way 2pin Appliance Module
From Activity Monitor:
0 01/24/2005 7:15:45 pm Transmit C9
(Backyard Flood)
1 01/24/2005 7:15:46 pm Transmit StatusRequest
2 01/24/2005 7:15:47 pm Receive StatusOff
3 01/24/2005 7:15:47 pm Receive StatusOff
4 01/24/2005 7:16:07 pm Transmit A14
Extended Code 0 37 (Lizard/Frog Lights)
5 01/24/2005 7:16:09 pm Receive A14 Output
status acknowledge ff 38 (Lizard/Frog Lights)
The stuff set to A14 was on by the way, so I
guess that response means "on", but is the
software updating the status correctly based
on the reception of that extended data?
Guess I'll try it with a 2-way lamp module,
and report back what it sends and responds with.
