battery time
« on: February 05, 2005, 11:14:32 AM »

has anyone checked the battery time reset
setting. i have to reset it everyday. not a
day has gone by when I check my harware
configuration and the battery remaining
time does not need to be reset. Once i
reset i do see that performance is improved.

Mine running alone with no computer
connected. Would run for maybe two days and
even Fresh [I measured them with a meter]
would read 0 time left after the crash.

Mine runs connected with computer on 24/7
usually, its been keeping track of the
batteries, shows 47:15 left, haven't had to
reset it yet, the :45 minutes sounds about
right for the time I had that electrical
branch off the week before last to install 3
ceiling fixtures.

Mine also showed 47:45 after moving it to
another outlet and back later for a retest.
Only went to zero aftewr a crash and no
times where sent. In my case changing
Dusk/Dawn from the default [8 days I think]
to 1 day. Caused it to crash in two days.
Six days if Dusk/Dawn was default. No dusk
or dawn things where being processed. Only a
Test on B1 ON and Off twice a day.

The time going to zero is something that the
software is doing wrong, I think. It's
reseting the battery time in the interface
when it shouldn't be. We'll figure it out and
fix it.
