AHP interface time
« on: February 27, 2005, 01:52:03 AM »

I am currently running version 3.180 and
am  having problems with getting timers to
start on the minute.  For instance a timer
set to start at 1:00:00 pm will start at
1:00:52. The activity monitor shows it
starting at 1:00:52 also. Since we can no
longer see the seconds on the interface
timer I don't know if the timer is off or
the timers are just all starting at the
wrong times.  The delays after the wanted
start time vary from download to download.
Any one else having a similar problem?

Don, this “feature“ was introduced in v3.177.
Take a look at “Software Problem Reports”
forum, page 3, “Timers not starting on time”
thread.

This is a result of our setting the clock
with the correct minute, but seconds set to
:00. So, when you download data, the clock
can end up close to a minute off.

Is there a purpose for setting the time this
way?  Was there a problem w/the old method?

Thanks. I'm sorry I didn't go back far
enough in this forum to see that entry.
However since the timer is capable of using
seconds why on earth would you not want to
set it the seconds.  I keep my pc clock up
to the correct second using "Dimension 4"
and would like my AHP to have exactly the
same time.  Please fix this is a future
release.

X10 Pro: Was there a particular reason to
delete the setting of seconds? Was there a
problem with the execution of programming
in the interface?

I also set my PC clock via the internet and
would like The CM15 to sync up with my PC
time. Unless there is a good reason for it
not too. I use NISTIME_32.
