Everytime I add a new module to a room, it
always ends up in the first room in the
list, I have to move it to the proper
room.  as a result the color of the header
bar is wrong.  Is this a bug or am I doing
something wrong.  Also at times the
graphical representation of the light
switchs and dim meter are not always
correct.  Is this going to be fixed in the
next release?

First of all: If you use the menu EDIT/ADD
MODULE make sure that the Create in room
where you want your module to go. This is
independent of the room your are looking at
on screen. Secondly make sure that if you
are dragging the module from the modules
pane - it is going to the room you want.
Heading bar colors are set up according to
the module type unless you make a change in
Preferences/ActiveHome Pro/Color Room
Modules by Type - if checked it will color
the modules by the type when checked any by
room if unchecked. I don't see a problem
when I move a module from room to room on
my system.

The graphics change according to what
action is taken by the CM15A interface - if
the interfac is NOT connected then the
graphics are not updated on house codes
other than the Monitored House Code. Dim
levels are not updated unless the interface
is connected at the time the command is
sent. The interface keeps track of the
status of the modules only on the Monitored
house codes which is ON/OFF and whether a
module is dimmed or not but does not track
the dim level. All other tracking is lost -
the tracked modules are upodated when AHP
is running and the interface is connected -
this can result in other modules being out
of synch with the program. All will re-
synch when the module is next activated.
This is not a bug with AHP and can't be
fixed by X10 - it's a limitaion because of
dealing with a device that can act on it's
own while not connected to the computer and
AHP running.

At one point the system worked AOK, now it
has segregated itself.

I replaced the hard drive and installed the
same software XP/SP1. I then installed the
AH Pro and updated it 3/22/2005.  Since I
installed the AH software and uploaded the
house software (worked fine when it was
saved) the CM15A will control the modules
without any problems when using the
computer.  The CM15A macros etc work
whether it is connected to the computer or
not.

When I use the wireless sensors or remote
control units the monitor properly reports
all of hardware and RF commands.  The CM15A
fails to place the RF commands on the power
line consequently the modules do not
operate regardless if the USB is plugged in
or not. I monitor the power line with
another hardware unit and can see any
activity on the net.

I have a second CM15A which I substituted
for the original the behavior is the same.

What is going on?

Thanks
Gil

Sounds as if your hardware config has
defaulted to NO transceived housecodes -
you may have to check your hardware
configuration and specify which codes you
want transceived.

Thanks Joe S.  I did not even know I had the
ability to change those settings.
