I was aiming for a release yesterday, but we
weren't quite ready. I don't like to do
releases on Fridays, so the new goal is
Monday -- that's not set in stone, though.
The update will include changes for AHP,
Smart Macros, and iWitness.

X10Pro

FYI - While your looking at things...

The version number is not complete in the
lower left status line on the Activity
Monitor.

The splash screen stays on WAY TO LONG -
over 10 seconds.

Plug-Ins menu selection is incorrect for
ActiveView...

I am going unplugged USB tonite.  Since
3.183 everything is going well including
DST and power outages (hooked up to PC via
USB 24/7).  Will keep formum posted...so
far so good.

Keep it up....

X10 Pro

(see post below - it didn't take long)
Since unplugging the baby CM15A from its
mommy PC it gained 1.3 hours in just less
than 12 hours.  I guess you want us to buy
a PC for these things and keep them running
24/7 so your baby will work.  I'm not going
to do that, as other options cost
considerably less.

If the upcoming release does not fix the
clock issue I will be returning your baby
to you for my money back as it has never
worked like it is supposed to do (RMA time).

I sincerely hope you fix this now or I will
be putting my money on something that works.

Best of luck, and make it soon!

David K: I don't see the upcoming releasing
changin anything in the clock operation. I
can send you one of the diagnostic interfaces
and see if that makes a difference for you.

X10 Pro:  What is happening with the fixes
release?

The Diognostic interfaces -- What is
different?  The hardware, firmware?  PCB
changed?  Components changed? Reciever
daughter board changed? What is the firmware
version/ID-number?

For what we are about to receive . . . we
are grateful.  You think?

X10 Pro: We need to know what changed between
diag units and older CM15's.

I'm still trying to run a unit purchased in
December without much luck.  The CM15 is
always connected to a PC but the PC is not
always on.
Timers will fire for about 3 days but then
will stop until I clear the I/F memory and
reload everything.  I guess hoping that
things would get fixed before the 30 day
gurantee was too optimistic.

It also seems that the people with diagnostic
units have way better luck.

Will X10 replace faulty units after
everything is fixed ?

DaveV: The diagnostic units can have a
diagnostic mode that lets us read operating
data from the interface that we couldn't
before. In order to put those features in, we
had to make some changes to the programming
in the interface itself. If you'd like to try
one, just let me know: ahpsupport@x10.com.
