AH loses comm with CM11A during inactivity
« on: May 24, 2005, 11:03:11 PM »

My AH 1.42 tends to lose communications
with the CM11A during periods of inactivity
on my XP SP2 PC,like overnight.System does
not hibernate or standby. I have tried
another CM11A, shut off updates, installed
windows anti-spyware (per microsoft),etc.
X10 says it's SP2 querying the com port and
locking it up, Microsoft says baloney to
that, you get what you pay for.
Holy Cow, with the filters, booster links,
extra interfaces and everything else X10
told me would fix the problem that I've
been foolish enough to fork out for, this
calamity should be controlling the planet
by now!Any advice?

You may want to go to the regular X10 Forums
as here is the Pro Forums. Anyway in the
regular X10 forums software section there
maybe an answer. See the message 'Solution
to ActiveHome (cm11a) XP Problems'
