On button runs Off macros?
« on: October 18, 2005, 10:24:59 PM »

If I assign an "on" macro to "A1 On" and
an "off" macro to "A1 Off", both fire when
I  press the A1 On button on an HR12A. What
am I  doing wrong??    Macros reside in
CM15A interface.

I have been using a key chain remote to
initiate  ON and OFF triggered macros.  That
setup has worked reliably for over 10
months.  I use different house codes for the
keychain remote, the macro addresses, and
the controlled devices.

My functions are H1 ON trggers a macro that
turns on porch lights for 15 minutes; H1 OFF
turns off the porch lights immediately.
Similarly H2 controls power to my garage
door opener.  The only anomaly I have seen
is that I must wait about 2 seconds after an
ON command before I issue an OFF command or
it will be ignored.

Are you sure both are firing or are you just
seein the flash on the room monitor ?  I have
a 3 part macro that fires all three buttons
when observed on the monitor, however, the
macro was only executing one part.
