This is the first time I noticed this.
But, I just started up AHP on my PC, and I
heard my wife yelling from upstairs, "the
bathroom lights just turned on..."

I didn't push any buttons, and neither did
she.

I have basically 6 light modules right
now.  Two lamp mods, two regular wall
switches, and 2 3-way wall switches.  The
two regular wall switches BOTH turned on.
Don't know if any of the others would have
also, because they were all already ON.

I ran upstairs, checked it out, and sure
enough BOTH were on.  I switched them off
local.  When I came back down, I noticed
that in the AHP, both of these lights were
showing to be ON.  These are NOT 2-way
switches (just regular wall switches).

What's up?

Are the switches on housecode P ?  I see a
P16 ON transmitted when AHP is first started
on my system.
Yesterday it worked.
Today it doesn't work.
X10 on Windows is like that.

When I plug in AHP and start my program, my
ceiling fan in another part of the house
emits a screeching noise that is
unbearable!  It continues without ceasing
for at least 3 minutes and then quits.  My
wife told me that I have to choose between
AHP and her.  (Don't ask me my preference!)

With no other details, maybe you should oil
the fan.

you sure its the fan? my ex could screech
way longer than 3 min! actually, ceiling
fans and x10 dimmers don't get along very
well. aside from the additional headroom,
think how much more streamlined the room
will look (not to mention how much quieter
it will be) when you replace the ceiling
fans with plain light fixtures. and think
how much clutter you'll eliminate when you
make the "obvious" x10 vs. wife
decision.  ;)

Haha!  Interesting to come back and see how
this thread has digressed... <grin>

No, nothing on P.  But, I've also noticed
the P16 on my activity.

Haven't had this weird thing happen since
that one time.  So.shrug>

The P16 thing was explained by the 'X10Pro'
in one of the older threads. Vague memeory
here. Sent on power up for compatibility
with one of the Firecracker interface things.
