Video Quality
« on: November 09, 2004, 03:39:48 AM »

I heard that the x10 camera picture quality
is really shoddy. Im tying to catch some kids
who have been throwing rocks and breaking my
windows and most likely ill need to be able
to catch the faces of these kids to prosecute
them.

Any Comments/Suggestions?

'Depends on lighting and distance. If you
can get them, or get the camera to within
maybe fifteen feet of where they've been
throwing rocks from, and you've got
sufficient lighting. Then you should be good
to go. I can't tell you about the Low light
camera's picture quality, though. Also, you
sometimes get a camera with a messed-up CMOS
thingy and the picure will be bad,
regardless. I have seen this before and you
just have to send these units back. Still,
they're an relatively inexpensive camera
system to set-up and use.
