Why is the CM19A Transceiver necessary with
the Ninja cameras?  I have a new ActiveHome
Pro CM15A Transceiver and plan to put my
cameras on House Code B (while my lights
are on A).  Why do I need MORE stuff on my
PC???

You don't need one unless you want to use
the pan tilt functions of the Ninja.  We
need to do all we can to keep X10
financially sound.

Yeah, but, but, but....  If I already have
a software package that manages my
connectinons, I already have a transceiver
that can talk to any housecode, all I am
doing is sending X10 line commands to the
appropriate device listening, why would I
need yet another device attached to my PC
to do the EXACT same thing as the other
device attached to my PC.

It's just X10 Line Commands.

Before AHP, I was using the cm19a for my 4
cam system - but using MultiView app for
control.  As far as the cameras go, the cm15a
works like the cm19a.  With an app like MV or
Firecracker, the cm15a sends RF to a
transceiver as the cm19a did, and I've seen
no difference in operation.  My cm19a sits in
a drawer, and I continue to use MV with the
cr15a.

I think the pan/tilt feature is direct RF
from the remote control to the camera base,
so that should work for you in any AHP setup
you decide on.  I use the cr14a remote.

How did get the CM15a to work in place of
the pc transciever?
