well after reading all these posts guess I
will keep looking else where for a security
camara set up. Thanks for saving me a few
thousand dollars for 16 camaras.

 Sorry you feel that way. I just put up my
forth cam and I love it. Yes I had a few
little problems but nothing that a little
brain work could not solve. I don’t think
you well find any system that is perfect.
They all have there bugs to be worked out.
As to spending a few thousand dollars, well
I have four cams,  two that pan and spent
less then $300. If you keep and eye out
there are always sales going on where you
can pick up two â€" three cams for as little
as $100 -$125.

I must admit I was moved and inpressed when
I watched and read "A Robin's Dairy"
somewhere on the X-10 website.

unfortuately I live in a crime zone, and
need to make crack heads' diaries for
police.  I need some serious equipment that
works.  Any suggestions?  Oh yeah, the
signs saying I have video surveailance
works but that's about it.

I've spent thousands on X-10 over the years
and as an admittedly ignorant (I can afford
it so far, so in some ways I'm not that
ignorant) hobbiest, I don't regret it so
far, but now I want something taht either
works, or is easier to get to work.

Ok. guys..what is the simple fix to
installMV and WV and have them start..you
know at least see the MV screen display. I
have installed MV on desktop and WV on
laptop.
Both --both these programs  crash on both
computors.They do not open up to show the mv
and wv window.
Pan tilt works- Pantiltproser , still have
issue,can not connect , freezes.. Xray works.
Xray remote works. Did not try email or
motion sensor opts , yet..Just want to get a
good install of MV and WV.
Any help appreciated.
