I just got my cameras and want to locate 1
on each corner of my home under the eaves. I
was wondering if anyone has any tips on how
to hide the poser cords for the camera dne
the pan tilt.
Thanks in advance

you could cut the plug end of the cord off,
and use 22/2 wire to extend the cord, make
the proper splices and fish the wire thru
you atic, or hide the cord behind a
downspout, or run the cord along the eaves,
to the back of the house(or where-ever the
phone wires come in at) and run the power
cord in with the other wires.

Would long runs of wire harm the camera by
cutting down on the power. Also would the
robotic mount work as well.

hightechhome09@yahoo.com

the long runs should not be a problem for
power use 18/2, I do not know how the
robotic mounts will work though, I have
never tried that, also keep in mind
modifying the  power supply will most
likely void any warranty.

From what I hear the warranty is pretty much
worthless anyway. I might give it a try and
see how it works.
Thanks

I drilled through the brick and pushed the
end through the wall.  Then a little dab of
silicone.  There is nothing to hide.  No
cutting, no splicing.

I did the same thing as steve, same thing
the cable & telephone companies do.
