« on: August 01, 2005, 02:35:13 AM »

Got my cammera running, now my wireless
network has about 1/4 the range. Unplug the
cammera, wireless network works
fine.Suggestions?

Known problem as the cameras use the same
frequencies as wireless networks, 2.4 Ghz
phones and even some microwave ovens. You
may want to try a different frequency
channel on the network. I have seen some
reports that moving the wireless channel
helped some.

Ill try that. Otherwise, I need the network
more than the cammera. Would be a shame,
the cammera is neat.

I'm using a D-Link router it was on channel
6. I swithed to channel 11 and it works
great. My 5.8 GHz phone still white lines
the TV when talking on it. Check that as
well.
