Any suggestions for non x10 security systems and cams?
« on: October 30, 2005, 09:12:07 PM »

Hi all, I own a small PC business that
caters to homes and small business.  I
have  a high end custom home builder that
wants a  wireless security system
implemented in his  houses.  He's one of
these "gotta have the  lastest tech" guys.
After reading some of  the posts in here,
I'm leary of buying from  X10.  Can you
suggest any good non x10  wireless security
systems? Thanks for all  your help.....Gil

What would cause 'dvd video' to run across
the television screens-regardless of where
the tv's are placed, or the age of the tv's-
all tv's in the house have 'apex dvd video,
is it possible that someone has cameras in
my home?  I have the sensor set up in my
hallway, this should not affect my tv
screens.  It's very aggravating to see this
running constantly across the screen! My
theory is--there's a camera somewhere I
don't know about.

The Apex DVD Video Message is from the Apex
DVD Player's screen saver. Somewhere in
your setup is an Apex DVD Player and it is
been turned on with for a while and without
a DVD in the drive.
