Ninja Pan Tilt/Mount upside down?
« on: November 14, 2005, 11:31:04 PM »

JUst purchased Active Pro and Iwitness.  My
lamp modules and switches work according to
my macro's and have one color and one low
light cam working with white lines (static
from wireless phones or network).  I have a
ninja pan/tilt unit I wish to install
upside down under my house eave.  I think
mounting it upside down would reverse the
left/right up/down functions.  Is there a
setting so the controls won't be backward?
Also can I still get it it to aim at
whichever motion detector is being set
off?

yes u can aim where ever you want
i reccoment unscrewing the little circular
part of the camera (the camera itself from
its mount) and putting it on upside down.
The motion dectection presets should be
fine, aslong as when you set the preset
locations, you have already mounted it
upside down

i also would like to know if you can
reverso the controls on the remote, but if
not i can live without it

I mounted a Ninja upside down under the
eave but the pan and tilt range is very
limited. I then changed it, I mounted the
Ninja against the wall under the eave.  This
made thing much better!
The Ninja mounted upside down would be the
same as if you were hanging by your ankles
to view something as aposed to leaning out
of a window for the same view!

Ninja will leak water from driving rain if
hung upside down.  Make sure you shield it
well if outdoors.
