Be Aware...Problem with 2.4GHz
« on: January 13, 2006, 08:47:09 PM »

The 2.4GHz that the cameras work on actually
knocks out the 2.4GHz wireless internet. My
laptop is 2 feet away from the router and
the camera is 30 feet away. It kinda sucks.

Hi Roger !

One thing you can do his to switch the chanel
on the camera and receiver.

You should see a switch that says (Chanel
1-2-3-4 or a-b-c-d)on boththe camera and
receiver. You have to match both the camera
and reciver to the same chanel.

Try that and let me know !

See ya !

You may also find the wireless network
adapters can be set to different channels
also.
This is a fairly common problem as many
devices share the same 2.4Ghz band. 2.4Ghz
cordless phones can also be a problem.

Most likely you have interference problems.
I just posted the following message under "Interference of X-10 Equipment" thread:
