Wireless Video Sender!

There should be a way!  Your wireless
router has a setting for channels 1 thru
11.  These aren't actually individual
channels, rather they are ranges of
frequencies that the router is allowed to
transmit on, as the router uses a sort
of "spread spectrum" technology.  The
router therefore blasts a little bit of
data on each channel, which doesn't
interfere with other equipment doing the
exact same thing, but does interfere with
your videosender that sits locked on one
channel.  Channels 1, 2, and 3
approximately overlap VideoSender's A.
Channels 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 approximately
overlap B.  Channels 6, 7, 8, 9
approximately overlap C.  Channels 9, 10,
11 approximately overlap D.  Check your
router so the channels you select are as
far apart as possible.

hi there, am currently using a linksys
wireless router for my internet access.
However recently set up a One for All
wireless video sender to obtain sky from
one room to another. I realised that my
receiver for the video and wireless router
are situated in the same room (broadband
modem there) which may be the cause of poor
picture quality in this room. How can I try
and change my router settings to avoid this
interference? Any ideas please - I am very
eager to sort this out...Thanks

The video sender (and cameras) are
analog...so they pick up everything being
sent over the 2.4  Ghz band, AND anybody can
receive them.

Notice your cordless phone (most of them)
don't get interfered by or interfere with
wireless 2.4Ghz networks.

The only way to get a better signal would be
to have either a tighter frequency...or have
it send a digital signal...neither one very
likely.
