is it possible to intergrate a quality
outdoor siren into the x10 system...other
than the cheap plug in type that is offered?

I used the extremly loud plug-in-type
available here (
http://www.x10.com/security/ph508_s.html ). I
pluged it into an outlet thats under my back
porch canopy, protected from the weather.
You could use just about any 120v siren and a
lamp modual. Only draw back is the modual
switches on/off/on/off when the alarm is tripped.

Would a regular siren work with an AHP
macro. (ie If security system is activated
then turn on an x10 outlet that has a 12v
adapter and siren hookedup)
