Hi, I'm interested in purchasing a remote
car starter for a manual transmission '99
Toyota Solara. I've been searching
endlessly online, but am unsure what to
look for and not sure how much it should
cost. Can you help?
Thanks so much!

Everything I ever read... said remote start
and manual transmissions don't mix. I think
your only chance would be OEM.

E-mail me if you are still interested I
carry a few starters for manual
transmissions that work very well.

How do they work?  There must be a safety
switch that determines that the
transmission is left in neutral, correct?

Question for Denny Barger.(E-mail me if you
are still interested I  carry a few
starters for manual  transmissions that
work very well). I am interested in a
manual trans car starter. I have spent
years looking and am always told that 'they
don't make 'em because they are too
dangerous'. If you have any I am interested.

I used to have a remote car starter for a
manual car. You have to put the stick in
neutral, press a button on the remote, pull
the key out (car stays running). Get out,
close the door, and press the button on the
key to shut the engine off. This is a fool
proof way to make sure that the car is in
neutral.
