Controling a tv via x10
« on: April 08, 2005, 01:30:48 PM »

Hello ... I have an x10 driveway motion
sensor transmits X10 signals to turn on my
houselights.  I also want it to turn on the
TV while we are not at home, but almost all
tv's operate by remote control.  Is there
an X10 device that will send out an IR
signal to the tv to turn it on/off?  tx

I don't know of any such devices and I'm not
sure why you would want TV to come on when
not at home. It its for security reasons and
you don't already have a dog, I would
suggest you look into X10's robo-dog. It can
also be used with motion detectors.

I believe you're looking for an x10 to ir
link.  Try smarthomes at:
