X10 Protector Plus Advice Please

I posted this once but it hasn't shown up,
hope I don't double post.

Hello,

I am thinking about getting the Protector
Plus setup for $99 on this site. I mainly
need the motion sensors and the door/window
sensors. I don't really care for the auto
dial feature, will this system work fine
without using the auto dial?

I also would like to be able to add more
sensors and eventually cameras can they be
added to this system?

I am planning on getting motion sensor
lights too although I might buy an
independant brand since I just need it to
light up.

Thanks for anyone that can offer advice.

P.S. Once I get used to the system I might
use the auto dial but I would like to
option not to if needed.

I do not have any numbers programmed into
my console and it works fine.

If you get lucky and get a good unit it
works fine but I had to return the main
console(2x) and motion sensors many times
before I got a system that would work
reliably. Good luck
