I installed a brand new system a couple of
nights ago. This system has two Powerhorns
which are setup on address 2 and 3 of the
same home code as the dialer module. The
Powerhorns will beep approx. every three
minutes in disarmed mode when both of them
are in service. The beep will go away if
only one is in service. Anyone has a clue
on what the problem is?

Normally, I set all my _PowerHorns_ to the
same unit code.  Also, I always use number
13 for the _PowerHorns_.  Save 1-4, use 5 on
up for the security light _lamp modules and
aux. _lamp modules which can then be
controlled by the buttons on the _SH624_big
security remote.

One featrure of the smaller SH10A is a chime
feature. Send an ON signal at the address of
the module once. Then sending a Dim causes a
single Dong and a Brighten a Ding.
Mine also have a quirk. If you send a rapid
set of ON to the SH10As addresss you can
sometimes trigger it in the alarm mode that
does NOT stop for 4 minutes even if the on
signals go away. A series of offs will stop
it.

Update. Only one of the Powerhorns show
this behavior, regardless if the second one
is plugged or not. It does not matter in
which receptacle it is plugged in, either.
Now it will beep at least once a minute. I
left the suspicious horn plugged in for a
few hours to see if the beep will go away
and I had a neighbor knocking on my door to
complain about the noise. Powerhorns are
PH508.

Maybe defective. Does it do it if you swap
the address between the two?
