DS7000 Lights Slow Flashing on Door/Window Sensors Only

I have had my system installed for about 4
months and I know that when these lights
flash that the sensor has lost contact with
the base station.  I just wait and it
reestablishes contact.

My question is that when its flashing, will
the alarm trip if that zone that is flashing
has an event such as the windows being
opened?
