Getting past motion to disarm

If I set the door sensor to 'max' and the
remote to 'max', I have 30 seconds to
disarm the alarm. Should the motion
sensor's also give me 30 seconds delay? The
motion sensor triggers the alarm as soon as
my movement is detected. Yet "just the
door" will give a 30 second delay. Thanks
