Will have to be a mineature type of coax as
it is a 2.4 Ghz signal. Also the length of
the cable will attenuate the signals as the
distance gets greater. How far do you need
to go?

Thanks Brian,Appreate your effort.Where the
camera is mounted I get a good view out
front,I moved the receiver and tv.out in the
garage to try it.that's how I know what it
sees,but can't leave it out there.seems if
the antenna was down a bit I could get
picture in the house.

Burt; Sorry for the delay.
I don't have a camera to easily measure the
original wire. I did find RG174 that is .11"
in diameter. Most of the dealers I have
catalogs for only have it in 100' spools?
Anyway if you want a specfications sheet to
see if it may work.
www.jameco.com
PN:232784CE is the spooled version and has a
link for the specfications sheet. Then you
can look at the bulk version that is chaeper.
PN:112037CE.
I have no idea if this will fit your needs.
I will still keep an eye out for other wires.

I have found no dealer that sells by the
foot only 100 or more feet on a roll?
How about a preassembled one with SMA
Conncctors you can cut the ends off? 6'
Heck in my stash I think I have two of those
from a previous project of adding an
external antenna to an X10 cm15a.
www.jameco.com
In the part number search: 159450CE
On the web page they have a link to the
catalog page. If you want to look at it.
You can also download that page or the whole
catalog if you care to.

If you are real handy and feel like a
chalange. They also have female chassis
mount SMA connectors you can mount on the
camera and camera antenna. Then screw the
cable between them. Same page 132 as the
cable I mentioned earlier.

The only thing about many of the parts
dealers like Jameco. Smaler orders under $25
may have a processing fee added.
