Just wanted to sat that my X-10 system saved the day

We had an attempted burglary last weekend but after the alarm went off the would be burglars ran off. I wish I would have had my x-10 cameras recording but I did not :(

We are so glad to hear that your alarm saved the day! Too bad you didn't get those guys on camera, but at least you know they won't be back.  ;)

I had a similar experience about a year and a half ago I have two of those large powerhorns and all my major lighting is x10 controlled this happen at night so you can imagine it looked pretty impressive. If you haven't already make sure you install some x10 lighting I have the wall switches in practically all my rooms and my porch lights and floods. Plus I have a x10 compatible outdoor siren from another manufacturer. My neighbor said he saw them running from my home and that my house looked like it was alive!! the console called my cell and I arrived within a few minutes because I was in the area good thing they weren't there when I got home I have a CCW.

It was a Canadian manufacturer, but it is no longer being manufactured. Actually thinking about producing a similar product myself there seem to really be a demand for one. It's really a weak link in the DS7000 system. I'm convinced the outdoor siren was the major reason why when my house got broken into they left without getting a dime.
