Newbie would like to know if a dryer can be controlled by remote

Hi all,

I came across this x10 forum while searching
for ways to control my washer and dryer use
by remote.  I rent out my basement and the
tenants persist in doing the laundry in tiny
loads.  With the cost of energy skyrocketing
this is starting to really impact my hydro
bills.  They do these tiny loads when I am
at work and I have no way of controlling
this situation.  I was hoping that the x10
modules will be able to restrict the times
when they operate the washer/dryer, at least
this way they would feel uncomfortable
washing and drying a couple pairs of socks
and a few pairs of underwear!

I hope the x10 modules could provide a
solution to my problem.  Any feedback would
be appreciated.  I looked around on this
site but I was unable to find any info on
whether their modules would work on dryers
or not.
