I want to be able to use a palmpad (or
other bedside device)to activate a macro
which will dim the lights (false sunset)
when I am tired, and not at a preset time.
This does not appear to work.  Has anyone
been successful at doing anything similar?

Active Home software with the  older serial
cm11a or the newer AHP with USB cm15a?

Your macro will be named to a specified
unit code.  I just did a very simple macro
that will turn my porch light on and then
back off 20 minutes later.  When I made the
macro, I called it "A14".  When I want to
activate it, I just click A14 "on" on my
Palm Pad.  That's all you do.  Just name
the macro whichever unit code you want to
use, and click it "on" (or "off" depending
on how you write the macro).  Obviously, it
will also work with my other remotes too.

When I click on  the palm pad to activiate
the macro "Good Morning", the activity
monitor registers:

P5 Off
P5 Off
P5 (Good Morning)
P Off
P5 (Good Morning)
P Off

And the macro does NOT activate.

What does P off mean?
Why the redundancy?

What unit code is your macro, and what unit
code is your lamp module (or whatever)?

I have been changing them from A's to P's to
avoid possible interference problems.

If I unplug my new phone it now seems to work
now (for the first time) with both set on
either A or P.
