The new activehome does not have the
ability to print labels - no problem.  You
can print nicer labels with control over
fonts and colors by creating a table in MS
Word using row height of "at least .38"
and  column width ".7".  The font that
works  best for me is Arial 7.  By using
borders  and shading and applying it to the
cell you  can make colorful labels.    I
would be glad to share my templates with
X10 if they want to put them on the web
for  download.

I created labels in Word without a table, I
have one row with 16 labels, every second
one is s second color and offset by a few
spaces so they stand out.   I kept the
description short and the font is tiny but
it works well.  I printed, cut out then
double sided taped it over the existing
blank label, the house codes are still at
the bottom.

Sam:  Label printing was introduced in
version 3.177 (released January 28, 2005)
as a result of this thread which started on
October 7, 2004.  Just goes to show that
X10 does consider suggestions in this forum.

Yes they due: however for us that want 1-16
on the same label for our HR12A PalmPad's
IT'S USELESS!!!!

I agree with Jerry in FL.  It is not
practical to remove the 1-8 template and
then insert yhe 9-16 template.  I use the
Firecracker label printer, because it works
better.  But I still have to write in the 9-
16 number prefix on the second line of each
button row.

I've created a MS Excel spread sheet to
print labels for the palmpad remote. It
lets you print housecodes 1 thru 16 split
with different colors 1-8 and 9-16.  If
anyone is interested email me at
tony@tcassio.com.  I will send it to you.

The old serial port software prints 1-16 on
the same slip.
