I'd like to see features similar to the old
active home cm11 software.

1. Compare software in Hardware Interface to PC
2. Check/Update status of modules manually.
(although I can see the status of a switch
change when I control it from a wireless
keypad. The staus of modules when the
software starts up is not updated.)

3. Would like to take a step back with an UNDO
button (Edit Undo?)

Thanks, RJ. I'll see what we can do with
these. I think your number 1 is something a
few other users would like to see.

RJ,
The "Compare Software in Hardware interface
to PC" in the old ActiveHome did not actually
do that - AH merely kept track of the last
file downloaded.

It would be nice if the capability existed in
the CM15A to read back the contents of the
EEPROM for a true comparison. Or lacking that
a small data area of 16 or 32 bytes which
could be written and read back by software.
But unless that capability is already built
in, a change in the firmware (and maybe the
actual CM15A circuitry as well) would be
required.

Yesterday it worked.
Today it doesn't work.
X10 on Windows is like that.

The CM15A memory can be read by the PC, so
implementing a complete comparison is possible.

I'd like to see this feature similar to the
old  active home cm11 software :

- Possibility to print the labels of each
kind of controlers
Thank you !
:) Automation is funny with X10 Gadgets ! ;)
