I really want to be able to turn macros on
and off.  Here's how it would work:
- A timer would fire at dawn to turn off
the security lighting macro.
- Motion sensing during daylight would not
have an effect becuase the macro is off.
- At dusk, a timer would fire to turn the
securiy lighting macro on.
- Motion on the driveway would trigger the
macro becuase it is now on.

Simple enough and it extends the
capabilities of the programming
tremendously.

This sort of thing will be part of the
conditional plug-in. You won't even need to
set the timers though, just set the the
conditions on the macro so that it only is
active between dusk and dawn.

Bob: please send an e-mail to
ahpsupport@x10.com -- I have a question for you.

Noam

Any estimate on when the conditional plugin
will be available? We're all waiting
anxiously for it!

I may be mistaken but I thought the motion
sensors had different modes based upon the
light conditions - or was that the
originale Active Home software?

Well, actually, I don't want to turn it on
whenit is dark, I want to turn it on only if
the motion is sensed after "late at night"
when the porch light is already off.  If the
macro runs "early at night" it would turn
off the porch light after a delay, but
before I really want the porch light off.
