The AHP display currently flashes a green
circle when an ON signal is received for
the Active Eye sensors.  Any chance this
could remain on until an OFF command is
received????   Thanks!   Times and Macros
are working fine here also, as of today.

I would like this. It is the way the motion
sensors worked with the original active
home. It would also be nice if a user
selected wave file could be played when one
of the motion sensors was activated.

Mr. Automation

Agreed on both counts. The ability to
assign wav files to events or triggers
would be great.

David,

I have done the following with my motion
sensors. I created a room full of switches
using a house code that I don’t use for any
thing else. I have macros that turn on
these switches based on the location of the
motion sensor that was tripped. I also have
the macros turn of the switches after a
couple of minutes. When one of the motion
sensors is triggered I can tell which one
by simply looking to see which switch is in
the on position. This works for me for now
until X10 comes up with something better.

Jim went the whole nine yards...actually if
you permit duplicate addresses you can add a
lamp switch with the same address as your
sensor and put on the screen right next to
sensor. When the sensor sends an on signal
the depiction of the switch will go to the
on position and conversely when the sensor
transmits an off the switch will depict an
off. This, however, is a work around. I
agree they need to have the sensor indicate
the last known state e.g. red LED for off
green LED for on.

The upcoming build 170 of ActiveHome, to be
released this coming Monday, adds per-
module history via a new history icon on
each module.  Click or hover the mouse over
the history icon for any module and you
will see the last 10 commands for that
module.  So, in the case of a sensor, you'd
be able to see the last couple of times the
motion sensor was triggered.

That’s nice, but why not just have the
sensor indicate its status, red for on or
tripped and green for off. The old AH
indicated the status of the motion sensors.

Green for on (tripped) please.  :)
